Useful Numbers to call in the event of lost dogs and other animals: www.doglost.co.uk and www.nationalpetregister.org 19th July 2010 Missing Cat - Damien Damien
is a neutered male, mainly black with white markings on his face,
chest and paws and a black smudge on his chin.
He is wearing a yellow light reflective
collar.
He was staying with us for a few days at
Cheshire Fishing, Beehive Farm, Carrs lane, Tattenhall.
He has stayed with us before and is
allowed out as he doesn't stray.
Unfortunately while he was out on
Saturday night our burglar alarm went off with a very loud high
pitched screamer.
We think that Damien would have been
terrified and has run away in fright.
We hope he is just hiding somewhere in
the local area, although he may have set off to look for his home in
Poynton near Stockport.
He is naturally timid and unlikely to
approach strangers.
We desperately want to find him and are
offering £100.00 reward for information leading to his recovery.

Today while I was on the canal between Beeston Castle and Tattenhall marina (near bridge 10) we saw a Jack Russell, wearing a black harness, that had obviously drowned in the canal (possibly some time ago,) . We could not retrieve the body, but if someone is searching for a lost jack russell, they may want to know what has happened. Please pass info on widely.
